This was an interactive commission for the 1st birthday celebrations for the Wynyard Quarter.
The concept was that the competitors were having to feed the local whales and dolphins using a variety of foods. A series of signs were laid out at distances that corresponded to the length of the actual whale and small weighted fabric 'foods' were thrown as far as possible.
Winners got their name on the board.
